5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel will be out of the mix for Monday’s contest versus the Philadelphia 76ers due to a left ankle sprain. His absence forced the team’s hand, as Justin Patton was recalled from the G League to serve as an additional big man in the frontcourt. Noel’s absence will mark just his second all season, although he serves as a season-long fantasy asset in only the deepest leagues. His next chance at taking the floor comes Tuesday against Brooklyn.--Jesse Borek
