Kevin Porter Jr. Exits Early With Knee Injury
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard/small forward Kevin Porter Jr. departed Sunday’s contest versus the Minnesota Timberwolves in the third quarter with a scary looking knee injury. Porter writhed in agony before being taken to the locker room and ultimately ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Prior to his departure, Porter collected six points on 3-for-6 shooting, while also snagging five rebounds across his 19 minutes. Dante Exum and Brandon Knight figure to see increased roles in his absence Sunday. Cleveland next plays Tuesday versus Detroit, a contest that Porter can very much initially be listed as questionable to participate in.
