Paul George Drops 32 Points In 26 Minutes In Return To Lineup
5 years agoThe Los Angeles Clippers got back small/power forward Paul George for Sunday’s win over the New York Knicks after a one-game absence due to a hamstring injury. There were many factors that led to the team’s win, but George’s presence was certainly paramount to that, as he compiled 32 points on 9-for-14 shooting -- including going 5-for-6 from long range -- in just 26 minutes. Without Kawhi Leonard available on the second leg of a back-to-back, George was the only Clippers starter to score in double figures, also adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals to pad his stat line. He remains an elite fantasy option on a nightly basis heading into Friday’s matchup with Golden State, albeit one that ascends an additional tier when Leonard is sidelined.
