5 years agoNew York Knicks point/shooting guard RJ Barrett parlayed an efficient 7-for-11 shooting effort into a 24-point outing versus the Los Angeles Clippers during Sunday’s defeat. Barrett’s scoring was boosted by a 9-for-11 showing at the free-throw stripe, the most makes he has had from the line in his young career. He led the team with 37 minutes played and added six rebounds, as his performance continues to fluctuate on a nearly nightly basis. He draws a more difficult matchup Tuesday as he remains in Los Angeles to face the Lakers, as Barrett eyes snapping a streak that has seen him yet to compile back-to-back 20-point showings in his rookie campaign.--Jesse Borek
