Andrew Wiggins, Robert Covington Both Drop 15 Points In Win
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins returned to the lineup for Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and dropped 15 points on 6-for-19 shooting. Joining him with 15 points was small/power forward Robert Covington, who shot 5-for-13 overall, including 4-for-10 from long range. Wiggins added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Covington continued his hot stretch of production by adding four steals, four rebounds and two assists. So long as Karl-Anthony Towns remains sidelined, both men will see increased roles all over the floor, upping their short-term value. Both get a favorable matchup Tuesday against a Memphis team that is yielding 116.4 points per game, the fourth-highest mark in the league.
