5 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Will Barton set a new season high with 28 points. In his team's 123-115 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, Barton added nine rebounds, five assists and one block to his stat line. He has had a nice bounce-back season after injuries affected him last year. He is now second in the league for rebounds per game by a guard. His 6.9 boards per game only trails Russell Westbrook (7.9). Barton has embraced his role as the primary scorer for the Nuggets outside of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Barton will look to keep the good times rolling against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.--Euan Leith
