5 years agoSacramento Kings center Dewayne Dedmon had not played in any of his team’s six previous games, but when pressed into duty during Tuesday’s win, he collected his first double-double of the season. Dedmon has recently been vocal about getting out of his current situation with the Kings, but that didn’t impede him from collecting 12 points and 10 rebounds across his 32 minutes, benefiting greatly from the combined absences of Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley. While Harry Giles got the start, it was Dedmon whom head coach Luke Walton entrusted with the vast majority of minutes at the center slot, a role he would figure to reprise Friday versus the Bucks should the team remain short-handed in the frontcourt.--Jesse Borek
