Brandon Knight Drops Season-High 13 Points As Reserve
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Brandon Knight saw a season-best 24 minutes during Tuesday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons and utilized his time on the floor to collect a season-high 13 points on 5-for-9 shooting, including going 3-for-7 from behind the three-point line. Knight’s increased usage over the past two games has been directly tied to the knee injury sustained by rookie Kevin Porter Jr., which will reportedly leave him sidelined for at least two weeks. In his absence, Knight appears ready to step in, although he holds little fantasy value beyond deep season-long leagues and DFS. Having led the Cavaliers' bench in both minutes and scoring, he should provide solid punt play value Thursday when he faces Detroit again.
