5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Admiral Schofield took advantage of his opportunity on Wednesday night against the Magic. With Washington missing Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura, Thomas Bryant and Davis Bertans, someone needed to take on the minutes, and Schofield filled in nicely. He set career highs with 19 points, six rebounds, 13 field-goal attempts, eight made field goals and 36 minutes played. The Wizards were forced to play with a nine-man rotation on Wednesday, and that led to big minutes for Schofield. He will likely be sent back down to the G League once the Wizards receive some of their regular starters back from injury.--Euan Leith
