5 years agoOrlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin slashed his way to 18 points against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. Augustin did not have an efficient shooting night (3-for-9 on field goals) but was able to get to the line all night and made 10 of his 13 free-throw attempts. They were his most attempts from the free-throw line since Jan. 1, 2015, when he also had 13 attempts against the Houston Rockets as a member of the Detroit Pistons. Signs pointed towards Terrence Ross getting more run with Jonathan Isaac's injury, but Augustin outperformed Ross on Wednesday. Monitor the situation going forward as the Magic take on the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.--Euan Leith
