5 years agoBoston Celtics guard Kemba Walker (thumb) suffered an injury scare on Thursday night but returned to have an effective evening on the box score. Walker had 26 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal in 33 minutes. He shot 10-for-20 from the field and 5-for-11 from behind the arc. In the second quarter, he attempted to set a screen and collided with Mike Scott. He injured his left hand and eventually left for the locker room before halftime. He was able to return at the start of the third and still had an effective evening. Fantasy managers should monitor his status for Saturday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans in case his thumb injury lingers and causes him to sit.--Euan Leith
