5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard connected on 6-for-17 shooting and finished the night with 20 points in the loss the Timberwolves on Thursday. Lillard struggled for most of the night but still managed to hand out eight assists and grabbed four boards while drilling three makes from three. Lillard has been a bit quiet over his last two games averaging just 20.0 points but has still been doing an excellent job setting up his teammates by averaging 8.5 assists in those two games. He has been one of the steadier, elite options this season and is due for a big game.--Gianni Costantiello
