5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Markieff Morris could get back into action for Saturday’s game versus the Chicago Bulls after having missed the past seven contests due to a left foot sprain. Morris’ absence, combined with that of Blake Griffin’s, has paved the way for Christian Wood and rookie Sekou Doumbouya to see significant minutes in the team’s frontcourt over the past two weeks. Having started 15 of the 31 games in which he has appeared, Morris would likely reclaim something mirroring his former role should he get back into action Saturday, lowering the value of both Wood and Doumbouya.--Jesse Borek
