5 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook recorded his second consecutive 30-point game on Saturday, finishing a huge 139-109 win over Minnesota with 30 points on 10-for-23 shooting. He did superbly at the line with a 9-for-10 record but struggled from deep by finishing just 1-for-5. Westbrook added 10 assists, six rebounds, and two steals. Hitting treys remains a problem for Russ, but he's at least improved his overall efficiency from the field in recent weeks, which should give him confidence. He has a very favorable matchup next against the Grizzlies, whose defensive record against opposing point guards is mediocre at best.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
