5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside has been ruled out for Saturday’s game versus the Milwaukee Bucks due to an illness. Whiteside’s absence marks his fourth of the season and first since Nov. 23, as Anthony Tolliver is likely to see an extended workload with him on the sidelines. Whiteside has been on an extraordinary run that has propelled him into elite fantasy consideration with a double-double in each of his past seven games and in 18 of his last 19. His next chance to return to action comes Monday against the Hornets, who have been clobbered by opposing centers thus far in 2019-20.--Jesse Borek
