5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small/power forward Danilo Gallinari tied for the team lead in scoring during Saturday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, collecting 24 points on 8-for-17 shooting overall, including a 4-for-9 effort from long range. His scoring total marks his highest output since Nov. 19, which coincidentally enough also came against the Lakers. Even with injuries sprinkled in, Gallinari has now drilled at least three triples in each of his past nine contests. He next faces Minnesota on Monday, whom he has reached the 20-point plateau against in three of their last four meetings.--Jesse Borek
