5 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard D'Angelo Russell made his first appearance since Dec. 28 on Sunday, scoring a game-high 34 points in a 122-102 loss to Memphis, shooting 12-for-24 from the field and 5-for-9 from downtown. He also had seven rebounds and four assists. It's a shame Russell has struggled with injuries this season, as he's been in fine form when healthy. His Sunday's performance now makes it four 30-point games for him in his past five outings. One of them was a 35-point effort against the Mavericks, who will be Golden State's next opponent. The Mavs are a mediocre defensive team, so Russell will be in a solid spot to produce another good line--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
