Nemanja Bjelica Drills Eight Triples, Logs Career-High 34 Points
5 years agoSacramento Kings power forward Nemanja Bjelica was firing on all cylinders during Monday’s loss to the Orlando Magic, finishing 13-for-16 from the field overall, including 8-for-10 from behind the arc en route to a career-best 34-point performance. With head coach Luke Walton essentially keeping the rotation at just eight players, Bjelica’s offensive role has taken a sharp uptick, as he has taken at least 16 shots in three of his last four games. In addition to the scoring, he added seven rebounds, two assists and two steals Monday; should Bogdan Bogdanovic remain out of the mix Wednesday versus Dallas, Bjelica should once again be in line for a significant role in the offense.
