5 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard/small forward Luka Doncic was needed for just 27 minutes of Tuesday’s victory over the Golden State Warriors, which affected his overall output. Ultimately, he finished with 20 points on 8-for-19 shooting overall, including going 2-for-9 from behind the three-point line. In addition to dishing out just two assists, he had his worst night from the free-throw line all season, finishing 2-for-8. He did manage to secure eight rebounds in the commanding win, as he should now be plenty rested for the second leg of the team’s back-to-back Wednesday against Sacramento, whom he dropped 27 points against back on Dec. 8.--Jesse Borek
