5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Collin Sexton saw his lightest minutes allotment (28) in nearly a month, yet still managed to pace his squad with a 25-point performance during Tuesday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Sexton shot 10-for-18 from the field overall, including going 4-for-6 from long range, continuing a stellar stretch that has seen him average 21.8 points per contest over his last 12 outings. He delivered little else in the stat sheet Tuesday, but the second-year guard has proven himself a valuable commodity for his scoring ability alone. On paper, he has an advantageous matchup Friday versus Memphis, but he was held to just nine points the last time that the two teams faced off.--Jesse Borek
