5 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell broke out of his mini-slump on Thursday when he tied his career-high when he netted 46 points in the overtime loss to the Pelicans. Mitchell started slow but got things going in the second half and overtime when he scored 36 of his 46 points which included seven makes from downtown. Mitchell added six boards with two assists and two steals in 42 minutes of action. Owners can hope this is a turn in the right direction for Mitchell who has struggled in his previous three games. His club snapped their 10-game winning streak but will look to get back on track on Saturday when the Jazz face the Kings.--Gianni Costantiello
