5 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard/small forward Tyler Herro has been ruled out for Friday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a bruised left knee. The absence marks his second consecutive game spent on the sidelines, with his 11.7 shot attempts per contest likely to be distributed to the remainder of the team’s second unit. Averaging 13.4 points and 2.1 makes from three-point range across his first 38 games, Herro has put himself in consideration for First-team All-Rookie honors. His next chance at taking the floor comes Sunday against San Antonio.--Jesse Borek
