Deandre Ayton Ties Season High With 26 Points In Double-Double
5 years agoPhoenix Suns power forward/center Deandre Ayton delivered his second consecutive dominant 26-point double-double during Saturday’s win over the Boston Celtics, shooting 8-for-22 from the floor and 10-for-11 from the free-throw stripe. The 10 makes from the line tie a career high, while he also added 15 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across his 36 minutes. Since returning to the starting five Thursday, Ayton has set, and subsequently tied his season high in scoring. He appears back in the good graces and playing his most consistent ball of the year heading into Monday’s meeting with the Spurs, on track to capitalize on the early-round fantasy potential that he had entering the season.
