5 years agoPhoenix Suns small/power forward Cameron Johnson has been ruled out for Monday’s game versus the San Antonio Spurs due to a right quad contusion. The absence marks Johnson’s second straight game spent on the sidelines, likely paving the way for Dario Saric to pick up a handful of additional minutes, even as Kelly Oubre Jr. returns to the rotation. After seeing hefty minutes off the bench at the start of December, Johnson has settled into a lighter-used role for Phoenix as of late, zapping much of his fantasy value. His next chance at taking the floor comes Wednesday against Indiana.--Jesse Borek
