5 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond notched his fourth straight double-double during Monday’s loss to the Washington Wizards, but his 18-point, 16-rebound performance was stunted by the career-high nine turnovers that he committed. Facing a Wizards squad that has been lax in defending opposing centers this season, Drummond’s rocky outing was flummoxing, even as he added four steals, three assists and two blocks to pad his stat line. He figures to continue seeing a hefty role in the team’s offense moving forward as they push for a playoff spot, next squaring up against a Sacramento squad that has traditionally kept him in check throughout his career to the tune of just 11.3 points per game, his lowest mark versus any opponent.--Jesse Borek
