5 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Derrick Rose reached the 20-point plateau in his ninth consecutive outing during Monday’s loss to the Washington Wizards. Rose led his squad in scoring following an 8-for-21 shooting performance that led to 21 points. In addition to his scoring, he added four rebounds, two assists and two steals, as his production has continued to chug right along even with his insertion into the starting five. His role as the primary shot taker for Detroit should remain in place ahead of Wednesday’s matchup against Sacramento.--Jesse Borek
