Spencer Dinwiddie Drops Team-High 22 Points In Defeat
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Spencer Dinwiddie reclaimed his previous role in the offense during Monday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets without Kyrie Irving in the mix. Dinwiddie led the team in scoring with 22 points on 6-for-17 shooting, including going 3-for-7 from behind the arc. In addition to playing a team-best 35 minutes, he also dished out seven assists and snagged five rebounds. While he should face an uptick in usage should Irving remain out Thursday against the Lakers, Los Angeles has boasted one of the best defensive units in the league this season, making him a difficult DFS play either way. Season-long owners can be reassured that Dinwiddie has remained aggressive offensively even with Irving back on the floor.
