Thon Maker Records First Career Double-Double
5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Thon Maker was thrust into a starting role for Wednesday’s win over the Sacramento Kings and he took advantage of the increased workload by notching the first double-double of his career. The vast majority of Maker’s offensive damage came from the free-throw stripe, where he finished 8-for-11 en route to 10 points. He also snatched 10 rebounds across his 23 minutes, adding in a pair of blocked shots. It’s tough to see Maker’s path to being rostered in season-long formats, but should Andre Drummond remain sidelined Friday against Memphis, Maker could be an intriguing DFS play with some upside.
