Derrick Rose Notches Double-Double Amid Starting Five
5 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Derrick Rose keyed the starting unit during Wednesday’s victory over the Sacramento Kings, logging 22 points and a team-high 11 assists, which marked his fourth double-double of the season. Additionally, he snatched six rebounds and recorded just one turnover, giving him one of his more impressive fantasy performances of the season. Without Andre Drummond (mouth) available, he became the primary scoring option for Detroit and should likely retain a considerable offensive role for as long as he remains with the organization. He will have a favorable matchup Friday against the Grizzlies, even with Reggie Jackson also being back in the mix in the backcourt.
