5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Markieff Morris rejoined the starting lineup for Wednesday’s victory over the Sacramento Kings and notched his first double-double of the year with a 13-point, 11-rebound showing. He knocked down multiple three-pointers for the fourth consecutive contest, shooting 4-for-12 overall. His role on the glass was increased due to Andre Drummond’s (mouth) absence, a usage that would likely continue Friday against Memphis should the league’s leading rebounder remain out of the mix.--Jesse Borek
