5 years agoFrom an offensive efficiency standpoint, Atlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins hasn’t had a better night all year than he did Friday during a defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Collins’ minutes were held in check by a combination of foul trouble and game score, but he managed to shoot 13-for-16 from the floor overall, with two of his three misses coming from behind the arc. His 28 points and six rebounds are all the more impressive moving forward for having come against a stout Thunder defensive unit. He next faces the Wizards on Sunday, whom he logged a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double against in their last meeting Jan. 10.--Jesse Borek
