5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small/power forward Jae Crowder has been deemed doubtful to play in Tuesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to right knee soreness. Should Crowder ultimately be held out, it would mark his second absence in a row, paving the way for Kyle Anderson to remain among the starting five. Crowder has scuffled mightily from the field in the last six contests that he has been able to suit up for, shooting just 21.1 percent overall. Barring a significant turn of fortune, expect that his next opportunity to take the floor will come Wednesday against New York.--Jesse Borek
