5 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward John Collins continued his scoring spree and produced an outstanding performance against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night. The third-year player had 28 points, 12 rebounds and one block in 33 minutes of action. It was the third time in the last four games that Collins has scored at least 28 points in what is, by far, his best scoring stretch of the season. He took advantage of Marc Gasol leaving the contest early, but it may not have mattered as Collins recorded his seventh double-double in January. He will look to his sterling start to the 2020 calendar year against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night.--Euan Leith
