5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point/shooting guard Lou Williams led his squad in scoring for the first time since Dec. 22 during Thursday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings, collecting 22 points on 7-for-22 shooting. Williams, who has made a habit of getting up shots in bunches off the bench, recorded his highest shot attempt total since Nov. 13, as he benefited from Kawhi Leonard’s absence. While Williams logged six assists, he also turned the ball over six times. He remains as consistent a bench scorer as there is in the league, although he should see a slight decrease in field-goal attempts Saturday against Minnesota should the team return to full health.--Jesse Borek
