Kyrie Irving Dominates Bulls With 54 Points
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving went off for a season-high 54 points on 19-for-23 shooting from the field, 7-for-9 from three-point range and 9-for-10 from the free throw line in Friday's 133-118 victory against the Bulls. Along with Irving's dominant scoring performance, the 27-year-old added five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 31 minutes of action. Irving got hot early and scored 27 points on a perfect 10-for-10 from the field in the first half, while his 54-point performance comes up three points short of his career-high through nine seasons. Irving has been limited to only 19 games this season due to a shoulder injury he suffered in November, but when healthy the six-time All-Star should be started across all fantasy formats as one of the most productive points guards in the league.
