Rui Hachimura To Be Held Out For Saturday’s Game
5 years agoWashington Wizards power forward/center Rui Hachimura will continue his absence Saturday versus the Brooklyn Nets after there was optimism that he could be cleared in time to return for tip-off. A groin injury has kept Hachimura on the sidelines since Dec. 16, with Thomas Bryant the likeliest candidate to see an uptick in usage with the rookie still out of the mix. Hachimura has started all 25 games that he has appeared this season, averaging 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds on a nightly basis. His return appears on the horizon, with his next chance to suit up coming Monday against Golden State.
