5 years agoDenver Nuggets wing Will Barton scored 20 points in a loss to Detroit on Sunday to go with nine rebounds, five assists, and two three-pointers. The near double-double marked Barton's second straight scoring above 20, where he also committed just a single turnover in more than 36 minutes. Already a mainstay in Denver's starting lineup, Barton has perhaps the most to benefit from the absence of point guard Jamal Murray. He'll certainly be asked to take on more offensive responsibilities in Murray's absence, which could pave the way for performances similar to this one in the near future.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBaller
