5 years agoDallas Mavericks point/shooting guard J.J. Barea will miss the rest of Monday’s game versus the Indiana Pacers due to a sprained left ankle that he sustained during the first half. Prior to his departure, Barea logged three points on 1-for-4 shooting across his nine minutes off the bench. He returned Monday from a one-game absence and figured to see a sizable role with Luka Doncic (ankle) unavailable for the near future. Barea’s next chance to get back into action comes Wednesday against Memphis, a contest which he figures to be questionable for the time being.--Jesse Borek
