5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas delivered a dominant 26-point, 17-rebound performance during Monday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons. Valanciunas tied his season high both in made field goals (13) and shot attempts (19), adding four blocked shots and two assists across his 30 minutes. Even as his minutes remain relatively capped around the 25-30-minute mark, Valanciunas has been a perpetual double-double threat, having reeled off an average of 12.2 boards over his last 11 games. As Memphis remains in the thick of the playoff hunt, expect Valanciunas to retain his considerable role on both ends of the floor.--Jesse Borek
