5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins had the ball in his hands at the buzzer, but his game-tying attempt went by the wayside during Monday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings. Overall, Wiggins was held down offensively, finishing with 10 points on 3-for-11 shooting. While he added six rebounds and five assists to his stat line, he turned the ball over five times, tying his season high. His performance Monday marked his first outing without a made triple since Jan. 13. He next faces a porous Hawks defensive unit Wednesday, one whom he dropped 25 points on back on Nov. 25.--Jesse Borek
