5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns posted a double-double for the second straight game for the first time in nearly two months during Monday’s defeat to the Sacramento Kings. Towns just hit the threshold by snagging 10 rebounds in addition to his 22 points, which came on 7-for-17 shooting overall. He continued to be the focal point for his squad on the offensive end of the floor, knocking down three triples while adding six assists and two blocks across a team-high 37 minutes. His next outing comes Wednesday against an Atlanta frontcourt that is currently decimated by injuries, which could make him a highly sought-after fantasy commodity.--Jesse Borek
