Harrison Barnes Dishes Out Season-High Seven Assists
5 years agoSacramento Kings small/power forward Harrison Barnes reasserted himself in the team’s offense during Monday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, collecting 14 points and knocking down three triples after a five-game spell without a make from long range. In addition to the scoring, he led his squad in assists with seven, also setting a new season high. Having logged just two games with double-digit shot attempts over his last seven outings may not indicate that his overall usage is trending in the right direction, but his continued minutes allotment (34 on Monday) lends credence to the belief that Barnes can still be a contributor across the stat sheet on a nightly basis.
