5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell did not pop up on the team’s injury report ahead of Wednesday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets after previously missing Monday’s outing due to a quad contusion. While it does mark the Warriors’ final game prior to the Trade Deadline, it’s not surprising that Russell would want to suit up against his former team, which traded him during the summer. There is ever-growing buzz around Russell and his trade stock, so owners will want to keep tabs on his status prior to tip-off Wednesday, even if the quad injury is in the rear-view mirror.--Jesse Borek
