5 years agoThe Detroit Pistons will be without both point/shooting guard Derrick Rose and shooting guard/small forward Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk for Wednesday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns. Both men will be missing their second straight outing as Rose deals with a groin ailment and Mykhailiuk battles a hip injury. Their absence Monday forced head coach Dwane Casey to keep a tight eight-man rotation, which most benefited Reggie Jackson (who entered the starting five) and Langston Galloway (who played 37 minutes off the bench). The next chance that Rose and Mykhailiuk will have to return to action comes Friday against Oklahoma City.--Jesse Borek
