5 years agoMiami Heat power forward/center Meyers Leonard has been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest versus the Los Angeles Clippers due to an ankle injury that forced him to exit Monday’s outing early. More concerning for Leonard moving forward was that he did not make the trip out West with the team, which further throws his status for the team’s next four outings into disarray. Miami does not play a home game until after the All-Star break, which could mean that season-long owners can begin to look elsewhere to fill Leonard’s role. Derrick Jones and James Johnson are candidates to fill Leonard’s role for the time being.--Jesse Borek
