Tyus Jones Sets New Career High With 19 Points
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Tyus Jones continued his best scoring stretch of the season on Wednesday night in a 121-107 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The 2015 draft pick scored a career-high 19 points on 8-for-8 shooting and added three assists and two rebounds in his 17 minutes. Jones exploded in the third quarter with 13 points on 5-for-5 shooting along with three makes from behind the arc. The former Duke guard has scored 10-plus points in four straight games for the first time this season and has a 15-to-2 assist-to-turnover ratio in those four games. The 23-year-old will look to make it five games in a row with at least 10 points on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
