5 years agoDallas Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis (nose) had an eventful evening on Wednesday in a 121-107 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Porzingis finished with a packed stat line to the tune of 32 points on 10-for-20 shooting, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 29 minutes. He did all that while breaking his nose in the third quarter on a contested rebound. The fifth-year player will visit a doctor on Thursday to determine whether he needs to undergo a procedure, and he could be in danger of missing Friday's game against the Washington Wizards. It would be unfortunate for the big man to lose some time and interrupt his current three-game double-double streak, where he has scored at least 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in each game.--Euan Leith
