5 years agoPhoenix Suns small/power forward Cameron Johnson and point guard Ty Jerome are both tagged as doubtful to suit up for Friday’s contest against the Houston Rockets. Johnson has missed each of Phoenix’s past 10 games due to a quad ailment, while Jerome has been absent from the previous three outings with a calf injury. With both men unavailable, the team has severely shortened its rotation, with Kelly Oubre Jr. and Ricky Rubio picking up a larger share of the slack. Barring a drastic turn of events, the next chance that Johnson and Jerome will have at suiting up comes Saturday against the Nuggets.--Jesse Borek
