Enes Kanter Racks Up 15 Boards Amid Double-Double
5 years agoBoston Celtics center Enes Kanter took advantage of his second consecutive start, notching his eighth double-double of the year during Friday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks. The 15 rebounds that he accrued (six of which came on the offensive end) mark his third-highest total this season, as he parlayed a 5-for-11 shooting effort into 16 points. When seeing at least 20 minutes of playing time this year, Kanter is averaging 13.3 points and 11.2 rebounds on a nightly basis. So long as Daniel Theis (ankle) remains out of the mix, Kanter should see considerable work in the frontcourt and be viewed as a perpetual double-double threat.
