5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Christian Wood recorded a double-double in back-to-back games for the first time in his career during Saturday’s loss to the New York Knicks. Wood saw a game-high 37 minutes, utilizing his time on the floor to collect 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting overall, including going 3-for-7 from behind the arc. His 11 rebounds established him as the team’s primary threat on the glass moving forward in the post-Andre Drummond era. There is no season-long format in which he should not be owned heading into Monday’s meeting with Charlotte, as he boasts elite potential in DFS due to the Hornets’ difficulty slowing opposing frontcourt players this year.--Jesse Borek
